I’m a finish carpenter, cabinetmaker and woodworker and have been creating and crafting nearly four decades. Originally from Indiana I attended MSU in Bozeman and graduated with a BS in 1981. I moved to Helena in 1994 and started my own business in 1997-Rising Sun Woodworking and have been self employed ever since. Recently I have started a web-based business building functional wood products intended to be used in your daily life. Wood is an element of the human landscape as much as earth, wind, water and fire. Wood has been used for everything in our evolution-shelter, tools, heat, weapons and aesthetics, and continues to add warmth and character to any space.
